I went super low-key with this pattern release and only asked a few tester pals to try out Desert Dunes. No matter how big or small a launch is, it’s always a thrilling moment when testers come back with photos, each version varying in colors, style, and quilting. Just check out their makes below! Pam @pamleen made a breathtaking multi-colored version and longarm quilted it herself! Plus, she used minky backing for maximum coziness.
Mya @fromthelibraryquilts quilted this gorgeous night version in domestic sewing machine. It’s so neat to see her vision of clouds rolling in over the sand dunes. I also love how she labels her quilts, which adds a warm, personal touch. I need to get on that!
Abby @shekeepsquilting hopped on board as a first-time XOXSEW tester and she did a remarkable job piecing up her striking version of Desert Dunes! Trace Creek Quliting did their longarm quilting magic on this beauty, and these wonderful images were captured by @TheThursdaySpace.
Finally, my friend Daphne of @octopurse put her signature cool stamp on this pattern with another vibrant, colorful version. As usual, she pieced up the top in record time and hand quilted her creation, too. I am almost convinced she’s a magical fairy who can craft at the speed of light.
